I'm realizing that's what conversion actually means. It's not just adding Jesus to the life I had. It's becoming someone different. The covenant moves from external rules to internal transformation. From trying to obey to actually being changed.
That's both more demanding and more liberating. More demanding because it's not just about behavior modification. More liberating because the goal isn't to achieve something but to be transformed from the inside out.
