Church Fathers on Luke 24:16

After the manifestation of Christ’s resurrection made by the Angels to the women, the same resurrection is further manifested by an appearance of Christ Himself to His disciples; as it is said, And behold two of them.

Some say that Luke was one of these two, and for this reason concealed his name.
