The sin offering flesh and hide are burned outside the camp — following the regulation of Leviticus 4:11–12 for the high priest's own sin offering. The beginning of the regular priestly ministry follows the same procedures as the extraordinary ordination ceremony: the transition from the extraordinary to the ordinary is seamless because both follow the same divine regulations.
