Caleb approaches Joshua — Then the children of Israel performed the commandment of the LORD, and divided the land. Now the sons of Judah came near to Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said unto him. Caleb, one of the two faithful spies forty-five years earlier (Numbers 14), approaches Joshua to claim his promised inheritance.
