“I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.”
I have revealed your name to those whom you gave me out of the world — Jesus' revelation of God's name (onoma) echoes the OT theme of name-revelation (Exodus 3:14-15, Isaiah 42:8), representing the disclosure of God's character and purposes. "Those you gave me" reiterates the election theme while "out of the world" (ek tou kosmou) suggests these disciples have been called from worldly allegiance.
