The chapter that follows is not primarily about a wedding but about the faithfulness that seeks the right spouse for the covenant son. Psalm 1:3 describes the blessed person as a tree planted by streams of water, yielding fruit in season. The application: the blessing of a well-lived covenant life is not merely personal but extends to the provision it creates for the next generation. Abraham's blessing funds the search for Isaac's wife.
