“But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.”
Elisha asks: "Where did it fall?" and the man shows him the place — the prophet's simple question precedes the miracle. He cuts a stick and throws it into the water.
