'then I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father, saying, "There shall not fail you a man to rule Israel." — The promise: 'I will establish your royal throne' (וַהֲקִמוֹתִי אֶת־כִּסְאָה מַלְכוּתְךָ) 'as I covenanted with David' (כַּאֲשֶׁר כָּרַתִּי אֶת־דָּוִד).
