Fortification and military organization — 'And Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the Corner Gate, at the Valley Gate, and at the Angle, and fortified them' (וַיִּבְנֶה עֻזִּיָּהוּ מִגְדָּלִים בִּירוּשָׁלִָם עַל־שַׁעַר הַפִּנָּה וְעַל־שַׁעַר־הַגַּיְא וְעַל־הַמִּקְצוֹעַ).
