Now there was war between Abijah and Jeroboam — Abijah reigned 3 years (וַיִּמְלֹךְ שָׁלוֹשׁ שָׁנִים). His mother was Micaiah (מִיכָיָה בַת־אוּרִיאֵל), daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. War (וּמִלְחָמָה) erupted between north and south.
