“And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.”
"And he set up the pillars in the vestibule of the temple; and he set up the pillar on the south side and called its name Jachin; and he set up the pillar on the north side and called its name Boaz." — The *pillars are named*: *Jachin* (*Yachin*, meaning "he establishes") on the *south*, and *Boaz* (*Bo'az*, meaning "in him is strength") on the *north*.
